Aishwarya Rai Bachchan needs to introduction. No matter whether she is doing a film or not, the gorgeous lady remains in the global news for one reason or the other. Her infectious dazzle is such that never dims. Today, Aish is one of the most celebrated personalities in the world. Her fame has reached every corner of the globe. You prepare a list on the most beautiful women on earth, and it will be unlikely that Aish does not find her name among the top contenders in it. She is India’s pride since she won Miss World 1994 pageant and became a global phenomenon.

After winning the Miss World crown in 1994, Aish was flooded with many offers to act in films from many big filmmakers. But instead of jumping at offers directly, she waited for some years before signing renowned film director Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie ‘Iruvar’ in 1997. Her debut performance did not garner much appreciation, but Aish did not give up on her acting dreams and worked even harder for her Bollywood debut ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ opposite Bobby Deol in the same year. Even this film of hers did not help her much in establishing her career in the competitive world of movies. Though in the initial years of her movie career, Aish could not find the kind of success which she must have dreamt of, but once she started choosing her scripts and directors judiciously, the actress delivered one hit after another. And rest, they say, his history.

After establishing herself as one of the leading and most sought after actresses in tinsel town with her commercially successful movies like ‘Taal’, ‘Hum Dil Chuke Sanama’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ to name a few, Aish decided to settle down in her personal life and married actor Abhishek Bachchan in the year 2007. She then took a long break to give birth to her daughter Aaradhya. After a five year sabbatical from acting, she made a comeback to films with the film ‘Jazbaa’ (2015), which was directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film generated great response at the box office and the actress was back in the reckoning once again.

Soon after the success of ‘Jazbaa’, Aishwarya signed National Award winner filmmaker Omung Kumar’s ‘Sarbjit’ (2016). The biopic was a success and Aishwarya received great praises for her performance in the movie. ‘Sarbjit’ was followed by ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (2016), wherein Aishwarya shared the screen space with the latest heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma. The film emerged as one of the most successful ventures of the year.

TRIVIA: Before becoming Miss World, Aish gained public recognition for her appearance in a Pepsi commercial with actor Aamir Khan.

  1. I know my comment has nothing to do with issue, however I would like to gather support of every INDIAN to bring down the web site Amazon down. It is selling foot ware with the picture of “THE GREATEST APOSTLE OF PEACE – SHRI MAHATMA GANDHI JI”.
I humbly request you to help me in this cause, as I have sent several emails to AMAZON without any response and called them without any response.

  2. Interesting…she finished graduation by age 16 and participated in Miss Universe at that age, which is against the pageant’s rule–contestants must be at least 18 years of age. I am sure her DOB is not correct. She has to be born before much before the DOB you have mentioned here.

  3. Can you select a Miss India or World from Black community or dark competition girl. The world goes like Beauty pageant means light skins. India is native to more than billion brown skin people. We have represent at least once in few years select a dark complexion human and be humane.
